Muy buen hotel calidad precio
Nos gusto bastante muy limpio todo habitación nuevas el servicio de todos los trabajadores excepcional la ubicación está genial y el bufet puede mejorar un poco pero esta bien por poner una pega seria el parking que aunque es fácil encontrar apartamento cerca del hotel el parking que ofrece el hotel hasta a 89 minutos andando

3 Night Stay With Friends
Had a Lovely 3 night stay, unfortunately we all booked the Club Service and when we arrived nothing extra was in our rooms, spoke to reception and later that day 3 rooms received Dressing Gown, Slippers and in the mini bar 2 small bottles of water, 2 cans of Pepsi and 2 cans of Orange but no bottle of wine and one room received nothing in the mini bar or wine, spoke to reception who insured us we would receive the wine and our friends would also receive what was missing, unfortunately they did not and the rest of us did not receive the wine either. apart from that we all had a great stay, the staff are very friendly, the entertainment was excellent and the hotel is clean, comfortable and follow the Covid Rules.

Despidiendo el 2021 con alegría.
Estuvimos en el hotel 4 noches, del 31-12-2021 al 04-01-22, y lo pasamos genial. Aunque había grupos de españoles que se quejaron de que la animación estaba más orientada al cliente inglés, a nosotros no nos importó, venimos muchas veces a Benidorm y nos integramos perfectamente con los ingleses, su música, y sus ganas de vivir la vida. Lo único que el hotel estaba un pelín más alejado de lo que estamos acostumbrados, pero bueno, así nos sirvió como deporte para compensar las comidas. También encontramos la zona de piscinas un poco sombría por la sombra que proyectaban los edificios de al lado, pero claro era invierno, imagino que en verano, cuando el sol está más perpendicular a la tierra en el horizonte, esa zona estará más soleada. En general estuvo bien, lo recomendaría.

First time staying here
We planned to go to the flamingo as we holiday each winter there for a week. The flamingo however had been shut so we were offered the hotel rio. We arrived and checked in was a breeze as the hotel seemed quiet. We came here on the same board basis as the flamingo which was all-inclusive premium. We stayed in 504 and the view was to the back of the building which was fine. Room was extremely clean and they have been updated and where lovely. Had robe slippers little extra pillows make it decorated. Only issue I had with room is every time you had shower all towels were used and the hand towels as the water was coming out of the bottom off door where the seal was bend in the door leaving a gap for the escape of water. The hotel was informed but unfortunately this was not rectified even after the maintenance man did come. I felt sorry for the cleaners having to give us clean towel everyday and picking those wet towels up from sink. The cleaners came everyday and were fantastic. Food was lovely even altho there was little people at hotel. The beef stew was stunning. The gala dinner I would like to see salmon rather than prawns but that’s personal preference . Drinks were fine and bar staff were fantastic . All worked hard and always wanted chat. Entertainment where also great dispute working with few customers there. My son loved Sonia. I would however have different shows rather than just singing for the shows, but again it was quiet so may be the hotel was in able to get different entertainment. Only issue we encounter was with management of the hotel about our all-inclusive status. This was new to the hotel which I appreciate but day 3 they were still telling bar staff tell us we could t no longer have certain drinks as was not included. I did speak management the new younger man and found him dismissive and blaming flamingo for shutting but med-playa is a big hotel and all this should been in place as the hotel knew people were being sent to the rio instead. Overall the holiday was a lovely break for my self as working as a nurse in these stressful times and my children enjoyed also. However I have booked to go back to the flamingo for feb 2023 already. The flamingo in my opinion is better overall for holidays I enjoy and I believe the rio is more for couples or single people of a mature age. X

Happy days
The hotel is really lovely Since refurb. We particularly like staying in the winter months when it is quieter.. it is obviously well geared up for children where they will have a fantastic holiday!!’ It is a very friendly hotel you immediately feel relaxed and comfortable.
