Excellent stay and hotel

4 friends aged mid 40s stayed September. Hotel about 10 minutes from main strip of bars but bars etc all around. Food nice. Rooms very clean. Good value food and drink in hotel.

Good hotel gone down hill

We checked into Rio Park on Sunday 24th sept, when we booked we requested a low floor and also emailed before hand to ensure we had a low floor. On arrival we were given the 8th floor when i explain to reception i needed a low floor due to my wife being disabled and in a wheel chair they said there was nothing they could do and come back tomorrow an explained that use had a outdoor lift so thats not a problem of my wife is claustrophobic, not true suffering from claustrophobia is the same even its in a glass lift. When we went back the next morning we were told once again no low floors all they could give us was the 11th or 10th so best staying were we were on the 8th and to try back again tomorrow. We have stayed in this hotel over 15 times and never had a problem but this visit was terrible. My wife is in wheelchair and the ramp to get to the pool is to steep and very difficult to get up and down. We felt the food has gone down hill and also alot of staff had very bad attitudes. Down in the restaurant were you wash your hands my 3 year old grandson put his hand on the sink to reach the soap and the metal sink fell on the floor an just missed him by inches and all the staff could do was tut as if he had been swinging off it. Like i said before i have stayed in your hotel many times but i will not be staying again. We were due to check out this sunday the 1st but we have cut our holiday short and came home early. Its a shame that a good hotel has gone down hill.

Excellent!

The rooms were beautiful and the maids always did a great job. The staff were friendly apart from one man behind the bar very rarely cracked a smile and the male entertainer I found was slightly arrogant. Food was lovely but it was very repetitive Im a fussy eater so I got sick of eating the same stuff every day. But overall excellent value for money and I really enjoyed my stay at Rio Park.

Smallest room ever had to stay in

Room far too small l feel that l have been overcharged €532 Door stop in middle of floor near wardrobe so you catch your feet all the time Room next to family room so constant noise l feel that a refund of sort should be made l have travelled world wide and your room fell very short of my expectations.

club superior room

reception kept insisting that i had booked 2 superior rooms and not club superior,numerous times i had to go to reception and show them my booking and to show them on there website what should have been in our room on arrival .. pool towels robes and drinks put in fridge which were not there on arrival,on the second day we got the drinks put in the fridge 2 juices and 2 water,but were not replenished for the rest of our 10 day holiday,Idont know if we got put in club room instead of club superior,which i think is what happened as this would make sense as to why we didnt get what we paid for in the room on arrival,as there seemed to be a bit of confusion with 3 different members of staff,regarding our room,all saying we had booked club rooms and not club superior,which we had and paid for and showed them my booking conformation.we arrived on the sat evening 2nd of september and by the tuesday i gave up going to reception,as i was there celebraitng my 50th and wanted to just relax,Also my husband went to reception to ask if a bottle of fizz could be brought up to room on my birthday,we went down to dinner at 730-8 ish and it still wasnt delivered to our room but was there when we got back to room about 1am,a little too late!!!!

hotel needs a lot of money spending on it

reception staff very rude on check in, waiting in ques in bar area,children playing in lifts in busy meal times and no security to check them,sunbeds still being left for long periods and staff not doing anything about it

bonjour, Il est fort dommage que le personnel de laccueil ne parle pas le Français. De plus, dans la salle à manger, le micro-onde ne fonctionne pas pour pouvoir réchauffer son lait !!!!! Je précise que le lait fourni par les cuisines était froid et le lait qui sort des machines à café est très mauvais. Cordialement.

Buenas vacaciones

Pues la verdad que esta bastante bien en relacion calidad precio.. l@s trabajados del hotel muy correctos y amables y la comida estaba muy bien teniamos un poco de miedo por los comentarios pero la verdad que disfrutamos de todo. Ademas soy celiaca y la cocinera en todo momento super atenta y mucha variedad para los alergicos e intolerantes..en resumen todo perfecto gracias
